Maybe you noticed last night's blog didn't happen, but your correspondent offers no apology except to say it was nice to have an early sleep.
Don't know about you, but I really enjoy the rain. That's what's happening here in the Alps. Rain. It's a good thing for two reasons - gives me a chance to catch up with my cuz Roger (also his partner Joe) and we can sit around and do not much.

... called Klosters. It's a picturesque little (not so little really) village that is covered in snow in winter and to which skiers naturally flock.
All was well on my GPS until past Innsbruck. The thing was programmed to avoid main roads and took me over the mountains to get here. It was like climbing the Himalayas in a pair of sneakers, ...
... of course. The old saying if you need to know the price you can't afford it definitely applies here. There was even a children's Gucci shop. But the mountains were what we were wanting to see and we saw them in all their finery with glaciers and still lots of snow. I am still blown away by the beauty. ... one off bathroom. We had fresh snow on the surrounding mountains overnight from a storm. After a nice brekkie we did a walk parallel with the river on Via Milano to a little town called Premadio. We kept going and after walking up to 1280m then decended back to the main township. We decided to drive the Passo Gavia during a light snow fall on top of the pass at 2652m. During our stay we developed a real soft spot for this area and would love to return with our bike ...
... stunning, you just didn't know which way to look, and I thought the scenery on train trips we had done the past few days were fantastic. So I would highly recommend this trip if your around this area! Headed to Lake Como via train, they have the most unusual coloured lakes this side of the world, teal green, very beautiful.
