Found the train tickets Brugges to Brussels that Emma had already provided! If anyone is travelling this way they are available.
Breakfast at the Hotel. Emma had advised that the Hotel breakfast was too expensive but Mumsy wanted the certainty of a gluten free breakfast so we decided to eat there anyway.
Not disappointed, it was perfect. The waitress was charming (I would have employed her) and when Mumsy asked for gluten free ...

... sans sauce which confuses the server no end (“But our sauces are good!”). I opt once more for the large dollop of ketchup. I like a country where chips are one of your five a day (along with beer, mussels, waffles and chocolate).

Grand-Place is much quieter tonight; the long weekend is over and restaurants and bars are packing up their tables and closing their doors. The 1€ waffle shops are still doing a roaring ...

... the workers supposed to go? Well we hit the road again and we didn’t stop until Brussels. Brussels was very small and friendly. Out home for the night was a small apartment right out of the town square. It looked out to the street and was on the top floor, so there were lots of steps to the apartment. The kitchen of the apartment was so cute and small, yet big for everything else in the apartment. The toilet area was basically 3ftX3ft, so you could wash your hands ...

Leaving Mediterranean Europe today for the frozen North! After some breaking breakkie we headed to the airport for our flight to Brussels. On arriving, we only had a short wait before we could check in and we breezed through security. Once we got through to screens on the other side, unfortunately our flight had been delayed.
