    ... out again about 6pm for a gondola ride and dinner. The gondola ride came to us as there was a charming man touting in the first square near our hotel. The price had just gone up at this hour he told us but in the end we agreed on 45 minutes for 100 euro. The card rate is 80 euro for 30 mins and 120 euro for 45 mins. In any event it's expensive but has to be done as it's kind of like travelling the world to Queenstown and not bungy jumping. We travelled ...

    ... town called Cannaregio, and located right on a canal. The staff was awesome and we always had fresh cappuccino or espresso waiting for us in the morning. We took the train to Florence this morning and I'm looking forward to seeing all of the art in the next few days. It's dumping rain and it's supposed to continue for the next few days.
