    ... over and found a bar. beers and Tapas please we sat out enjoying the view, joking and chatting. Sinisa and Odetta were getting on famously it was awesome I was so happy and Sinisa was happy finally someone with his sense of humor!     ... looking castle-like buildings, some Gaudi buildings, more tourists, vespa scooters, and more tourists! The waterfront was beautiful though. The beaches, the piers, and especially the people. The average person in Barcelona is absolutely gorgeous, which makes sense because Shakira lives there. We walked along the waterfront and then returned home, probably exploring for 6 hours in total.

    ... parklands and descended a massive set of stairs from the Art Museum/National Palace down to Placa Espanya which forms a giant water feature with fountains cascading down the middle of the steps and along both sides of the road. Shopping was not really on our minds when we visited the old Bareclona Bull Ring which has now been converted to a shopping centre.

    ... we eventually managed to locate some bottles of cava in a chiller and we bought crisps, cheese and chorizo to help the two bottles down.

    From there it was a short stroll to get to Placa d'Espanya and even now, with a couple of hours to go before anything much happened there were already huge numbers of people.
