    ... on the trail. That also meant we didn't have to share a room with strangers.
    The hike through the Larch and pine forests to Saosea Lake took about three hours. As we sat by the lake the few clouds lifted and revealed the snow speckled mountains around us. Just beautiful.

    Quick entry to reflect a lunch stop in Liechtenstein. This tiny country is most famous for selling postage stamps, and the fact that almost every European tour operator includes a few minutes here so they can boast of another country visited.     ... misjudged the depth and strength of the waterfall (which I was photographing!) and fell in and couldn’t get out. Watching her trying to scramble up the sides of wet, slippery vertical rocks was terrible but she’s a determined so and so and kept going until she was close enough for me to be able to grab her collar!     ... was so delicious! And came topped with some chopped mango, apple, pineapple and a popadom! It was expensive - but everywhere around seemed to be of an equally expensive price. We took a bit of a detour to get back to the hotel and had a walk alongside the river and popped into a coop. The local supermarket chain (different to the English coop). It was packed! But we picked up a couple of bits for tomorrow (and some essential bars of Swiss chocolate!) Even the supermarkets are expensive ...
