... the easiest way up through the brambles. With Roger giving us a hand up and Bill supervising from the "rear"...we all managed to scramble up each obstacle as we approach the flank of the ridge. Then we began the climb over the stoney mountain side. There are often some parts of the hike when you focus more carefully on where you will make each footstep than admiring the scenery. There was time to admire the view later.
... to know we have another week sometime soon to return.
The resort will be closed over the Christmas and New Year holidays for some major updating so perhaps we'll go back in the new year to see the changes.
In the meantime we're happy to have a healthy reset and back on the road to eating right! Bon Appetite!

... which I've dramatised somewhat, not being in a car and having a solar panel on board I'd recently bolted to the roof rack, I spotted just in front of me a large piece of metal strewn across the lane, over a metre long and 20 by 20 cm square. Unable to swerve much due to the speed and lorry, I had no choice but to drive straight into it, with a large bang and a bit of an upward lunge of the front left wheel.
