The are not many stretches of the Mediterranean coast that have not been developed but this area is still relatively unspoilt by apartment blocks and holiday villas. It is also an unusual habiat as most of the delta region is used for growing rice as they have plentiful supply of water from the Rio Ebro. After arriving safely back in Madrid, we picked up Doris and free parked near the caravan park that we had stayed at previously. Back to the Parador de Tortosa to enjoy a walk across the ancient wall and into the historic section of town. One of the highlights was the cathedral, a view of which is in the attached.
