Went to the beach to sort out lunch. All you mariners that think the mediterranean is a pond don't be fooled by that image. ... After that I bypassed Tarragona and drove for 2 hours down to a commercial park. However for €10 you get electricity and WiFi included. A good few of the campers look like they stay for a good bit of the Summer, again from France, Germany etc.
A word about the roads....they are fantastic. I have excluded toll roads now from the satnav but the ordinary road is dual carriageway in several parts. The trucks are using it a lot too so expect ...

... resident stray cats for company. We are camping here for three nights and heading off on the bus for day trips out during our stay. As there wasn't much going on we decided to have a walk up the beach. We found one bar open and had a small beer (Estrella) each (€2.20). ... try and duplicate some of the artichoke tapas... next day at work was short.. i took a two hour taxi to spend the night in Barcelona.. i did some sightseeing on my own at La Sagrada Familia which is a huge catholic church designed by a Catalan architect Gaudi. ... one after another for the entire road. At the top we freewheeled down the other side before turning round and winding our way back home. It was an awesome ride, apart from the fact that the temperature dipped to 1 degree at some points and we were freezing!


We are glad to say that we have had a more positive workaway experience this time but we have come to the conclusion that the hosts are all totally mad…..it is very strange to walk into some ...
