    ... others showed up 20 mins after and had been stuck in traffic. The show was pretty neat and their dresses were beautiful. They also used the clappers which was cool to see, (lol, what were they called Nicky?) I'm not really sure what they were actually called.     ... with tiny narrow streets which twist and turn with steep stairs up the hillside. Some of it is ruined and it is refreshingly unrestored although many hotels including ours are located there. We had lunch over the river in the main square which was very pleasant watching the children run around and play with their parents.

    We tumbled into bed happy and Katie fell asleep quickly. Very tired.

    ... picked out the dreaded phrase bus replacement and the French people unfortunately talked through the Spanish so I did not hear a word. Fortunately she announced in English that there was some problem and a bus had been laid on but that it was a holiday in France so the roads were a nightmare. We could choose from a couple of hours probably standing as we had no reservations and the train is full or six hours in a bus possibly more. My money was on the train when a ...
