... the road continues to the town of Almachar, further down the valley. It seems to be one of the larger towns of this region. At the entrance is a fountain and sculpture of a cluster of grapes, one of the main crops of this area. The “oven hours” of the afternoon are approaching, but this town is still alive. The store doesn’t have a whole lot, but I’m able to get a couple of foodstuffs to keep me going. Up a little ways is a little plaza with a ...

Beach bum life! Today we spent the entire day on the beach. We rented lounge chairs and umbrellas and relaxed. It was a refreshing day. Fun night but not the best move with an early start in the morning as we head for ...

... made by the people that make Guiness. It wasn't bad at all. With the beer and wine we had potato wedges and breaded fish. We find fish here to be fresh and tasty. It looked like shower so we hurried back to Riviera del Sol, and of course it cleared and got warm. Not sure if it was our hurrying or the weather itself. We stopped for some grocery and then took our time back to the condo where we had homemade martini's. So ends our ...

... early (we also stopped at the market and bought some mangoes for later).

Kevan was prompt and we were off to our first stop, the little white-washed village of Comares. The first stop every morning would be for coffee (Kevan) and water (Michele and me), and Kevan would talk briefly about a couple techniques to use with the DSLR. Today's techniques: holding your camera, exposure, ASI and Manual mode. He wants us to solely use the Manual mode these first few ...
