After a blowy night we wait for the rain to pass and then head off to Zadar. A wet journey to a major town but remarkably run down compared to Split and Dubrovnik. A motor up to our next hope for shops and to find protection from the wing from the South, we pass another bug fish farm just to tease us , but no catches for us and can't buy supper either! It appears to be a multi million pound operation In this part of Croatia as we keep seeing lots of trawlers and now the big farms as well. ... Besides Cracow we only saw the city of Zakopane and its surrounding mountains in Poland. The Tatra mountains were very beautiful - we hiked for a day and experienced all sorts of weather; snow, rain, sunshine as well as quite a chilly wind (freezing cold).
