The pastries in the windows of the shops are incredible. I'd like to hire an Austrian pastry chef and open a business lol. No Twinkie's here! Couldn't convince Alan to buy his own lederhosen. After Salzburg it was off to Eagles Nest which was one of Hitlers houses. It is set very very high up on the mountains about 45 minutes away from Salzburg. It was given its nickname by the Americans ...

... have to admit, that even for a bloke, it is an amazing place! Absolutely everything in the place sparkles, from the stairs, to the tables, to the toilets..... So we spent a while there as Treas sampled everything, and bought virtually nothing, and then did a general wander around the old town which has a quite a nice feel to it, and parts date back to the 1500s. Will post this now while I still have good wifi, and try to come back to it ...
