... German, we had a great conversation. He mentioned that he loves where he lives because he can see beautiful scenery every day, and he is not bored of it. Again, I am so amazed to meet different people along the way, and this makes these moments of the moto tours very special.

Next Destination: Basel, Switzerland and hopefully there will be no rain on the way. I know the route very well and I am looking forward to a great ride.

We toured Garmisch first and Lil bought some more gifts and craft supplies. The farmers market set up as we arrived. Lots of fresh food! We took a cable car to the top of the mountain beside Garmisch. 26€ each. The view was amazing. At the top was a lookout point built over a ledge. It is made of mesh steel that you can see through. ... climbed about 50m to get some brilliant photos. It was a very steep climb and guess who stumbled?!? Luckily Lorne was behind me and he managed to steady me!!! Lunch stop was at a very well set up place. Very Austrian looking buildings and people in traditional costumes serving.
