The Day in Barcelona
... 8230; Lots of people! Once we had walked the length of Las Rambles, we walked around the main square of La Placa Cataluña, and then dove into the gothic quarter with it’s narrow streets and alleyways. It was very interesting. We saw the cathedral which was decorated for Christmas, and a market set up in the cathedral square which appeared to sell only nativity scenes and hand crafted characters for them. Very interesting.

La Sagrada Familia - and disappointments
... though it is certainly interesting, but the basilica is beautiful! It is difficult to describe it, but it is well worth a visit and the long queue. After the Sagrada Familia we went back to the hotel for a little midday snooze before lunch. We had been up quite early(ish).
