Day 16: Countryside
Today I went to a rural area of Italy. It was very calm and quiet here. The people were really nice and gave us some of their food so that we could eat there with them. Their houses were built of pure bricks making them very stable and warm for those cold fronts that come in the winter.

Seaside chill holiday

The apartment was very nicely furnished but the area is very built up and there is no public transport at all not even a taxi rank. I was a bit concerned as my daughter katie and i were due to head on to portugal for a few days after our friends returned to seville airport. We had to get a lift from them at 6am.

Mooring up another river
... slight metallic knocking noise and was up investigating within minutes. The boat was turned upside down inside while I turned my mind to cooking us a meal. It was about 9.30pm by this time.
Steve managed to track the noise down to the prop shaft with a listening stick! Don't ask!
