We woke with hangovers again and decided to go to the smugglers bar for a full english fry up. We have not ate bacon for the whole time that we have been away and I have been dreaming about bacon buttys lol. It was a really nice breakfast and just the thing for a hang over. We then went for a walk down the famous strip of the Costa Del Sol. Its ok and really pretty the beach is lovely and there are lots of bars and even spanish ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... only problem is that the room really smells of smoke its making me feel sick. We dumped our stuff Ian had a quick shower and off we went to look for something to do. Straight into an english bar Browns had a glass of wine and a beer for 4 euros ha ha then went on to another place. Where we are staying is a large area full of english bars and irish bars and we ended up in the smugglers irish bar taking shots of ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... is like an italian fritatta or french quiche, i learned how to make them when i was in madrid in 1990 and stayed in a budget hotel that sat over a tapas bar. the smells from the tapas restaurant drove me crazy so i popped in for a look. i remember seeing these huge yellow round things on a dish sitting on the counter and asked what they were. the owners were very nice and told me that is the spanish tortilla, they even invited me around the counter to learn how to make ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands cruiseone2003Today we had an excursion to the Caves of Nerja about an hour away on the bus. The little town on the water was cute and reminded me so much of Dubrovnik. We have free time to visit the little church and have an ice cream. Then we were off to the nearby caves which were fascinating but didn't learn much because the guide was doing double time with the tour speaking both French and English and he spoke mostly French even when he was speaking English it seemed.
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands mamafeathers... well, I don´t think they really ride camels anymore in the city of Tangier anyway. After a couple more bus photos, it was back on the ferry to Spain.

All in all, here´s the verdict on Tangier. It is definitely a changing city, filled with construction of new hotels and lots of places trying to spruce up their looks. I wish we could have spent more time to actually see the real Morocco, instead of getting hustled around on the tour bus, but it was worth it none the less ...

Chouette ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands debdeb80... for lunch is an area called Chininitos where there are lots of chairs and tables set outside for a great seafood.
Teatro Romano is another nice place to visit, heading up to the Mount Gilfrano from there allows to see the whole city underneath. Amazing view of the Torre where the bullfighting occurs.
Once seeing the precaussions was over at night, we head out to Cordoba for our last day of visit in the Southern Spain.
Malaga, Andalusia, Spain canadiansmiley... had fun. It was interesting seeing the British folks doing their thing as if they were in their native country. We danced for a while, chilled out, then some of others went home, and Shanelle and I walked around for a while until we got tired and walked back to the hotel. Tomorrow, we would be on our way to Sevilla... I wonder if I can find a peluqueria and say hi to a barber of Seville. Hardy-har-har, right? The coast here was great though, and what a crazy day it was!
Torremolinos, Spain eurorich... fun. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, including the old man that was off his face! Next day we went on the little tour that Leah had mapped out for us. Didn't really take that long to walk around town. It isn't what you would call big. Although it did have quite a few good shops! Spent most the day just walking around and not doing much at all. The gorge was really that main attraction in town, and there's only so long you can look at it for!
