We drove through 6 of the 7 ecosystems in Costa Rica and saw countless things, some we even made our bus driver, Orlando, stop so we could gawk at. I do think it really hit me how beautiful Costa Rica is when we were traveling to Guanacaste and there were about 7 coati mundi's traveling across the road. They had no fear of ...

... was back from her travels and had come back for a few days before she flew home. So nice to see her again, missed her NYC vibe. She said she's with us for a few days before leaving so that's gonna be nice. Seeing her made me realise how long I've been here now, 5 weeks! Except that I have been kicked off the zip-line trip because of my durn wrist and weakened hand. Damn!! Still, we have some fun excursions to look forward to. Tomorrow we will be in Nicaragua. Then there is the Marine Wildlife Safari and also a Wildlife Boat Trip on a river in the rainforest. Some coming attractions!

We ordered dinner in our room this evening.

We didn't even need to stick our thumbs out and we got lifts half way both ways. ...

... darker so I really thought it was going to pour down. I went home and made a crisp sandwich to celebrate (with one of the last packets of salt and vinegar) and I sat outside in the thunder and lightening just waiting for it to rain. Did it, no. *******n it. I never thought coming from England I would wish for rain but here I am sat outside waiting for it and sorely disappointed when it ...
