... and better. If you are the least little bit adventurous you will have a blast but it is hard work to get your butt out of the canyon after, at least in this case. I have to say that my time on the stair master didn't really help. Some of the steps are knee high and the humidity is killer. Also, I COMPLETELY wore the wrong shoes. I thought my sandals which are strapped on would be fine and they likely would have been if I didn't have such narrow noodle like feet. They were too loose and ...

... was moving so were slightly relieved, but still couldn't work out what it was doing. Around 100m or so from the turtle we saw that it wasn't just one, but 2 turtles! MATING!!! I shouted for Allis and she came running over. We watched them do it for a while before they then made their way back into the sea. That never happens! Turtles mate in the sea, not on the shore!! ... room service and they arrived seconds after I replaced the phone on it's hook.

Except that I have been kicked off the zip-line trip because of my durn wrist and weakened hand. Damn!! Still, we have some fun excursions to look forward to. Tomorrow we will be in Nicaragua. Then there is the Marine Wildlife Safari and also a Wildlife Boat Trip on a river in the rainforest. Some coming attractions!

We ordered dinner in our room this evening.

... take a leisurely nap on the hammocks. We had a lot of fun talking with Miss Julie and Coach Rickert about the joys of life. When we finished with all of the painting and the clean-up, all of us girls enjoyed eating our stashed-away snacks in Jess's, Kim's, and our room. ... and stylish helmets down to Rio Blanco. It took about 20 seconds and one rapid for us to have the time of our lives (this was Amanda's favorite part of our day). We got to ride along the river for about 45 minutes - we didn't want it to end! Then it was time for lunch. We had delicious rice and beans with plantain chips and amazing natural fruit punch.
