... last time I ate that good. I had so much I thought I was going to get sick. It was a real good night. Even though we are so far from home and the traditional Thanksgiving (which is my favorite holiday...food and it's not commercialized), it felt a little bit like home. We laughed a lot. At the end I told the woman who I assume owns the restaurant that it was very good and I could tell she appreciated hearing that. She also told me ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands skivail89... girlfriend, Maria. Alex reminds me of my high school Spanish teacher. They got some mojitos at a bar but they did not like them so Alex went back in and bought a beer. Maria asked the bartender about the mojitos and why they taste different and the bartender told her that they mixed it with a different kind of soda because they didn’t have any more of the usual kind. So there we were standing in the street drinking and he was ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands skivail89... ill but it was cheap and filled us up.
We went to a place called Montys bar where they had a live act on we thought it was going to be really cheesy but it turned out to be ok. Steve the man who was playing was really good and played lots of old classics man rock songs so Ian liked it and I enjoyed it to. We then stagered back to our room around midnight a little drunk again. Looks like we are fitting right in with this holiday.
... and laughing at the funnyness of where we are.
As we walked past the bars imagine how funny it was to see loads of english couples a little older all sat in a bar watching only fools and horses. I always thought people where kidding when they said they came on holiday like this but is so true. Each to there own is all I can say. Ian is struggling to adjust and keeps saying he wants some spanish food. Lol.
... for an affordable holiday. torremolinos tends to have more belgian, dutch and northern europeans.
terry and i travel well together, we usually don't go out to eat and prefer to shop for our own groceries, stay in and cook. we usually rent a time share or in this case an apartment/hotel which is like a time share only the kitchen does not have an oven, just a stove top. there is a hybrid microwave with convection oven that i am afraid of using after my toast ...
... well, I don´t think they really ride camels anymore in the city of Tangier anyway. After a couple more bus photos, it was back on the ferry to Spain.
All in all, here´s the verdict on Tangier. It is definitely a changing city, filled with construction of new hotels and lots of places trying to spruce up their looks. I wish we could have spent more time to actually see the real Morocco, instead of getting hustled around on the tour bus, but it was worth it none the less ...
After breakfast and nice stroll on the beach, we head out to see the next city in the list which was Malaga. Malaga is very big compare to its size on the map :)
The trick is to head out to the old part of town to see the actions. Lots of architectures are dated back few years.
Cathedral as like the other places, is a must see in the old city. Small cobble stone alleys make it very nice and easy for walk.
The best ...

Fuengirola, Spain gales... to their rubbish! It was an amazing place to camp - during the night we heard deer wandering around the tent, and also heard what must have been a wild boar - lots of snuffling around and the occasional coughing-barking sound. The hunters said they hadn't had much luck - they were in the wrong place! Lucky for us. Unlucky for us, it rained a little and was still raining the next morning - and our leaky tent was still leaky...
