We covered the main sites in Madrid during my stay. Friday we took a stroll through Downtown Sol, with all the hustle, bustle and lights of a city center. [This is a BIG deal as China doesn´t seem to sell deodorant and I´m guessing from our experiences that a lot of folk don´t believe in cologne, perfume or hygiene]. ... Picasso wing, we went through some of the Salvadore Dali galleries. Finally, we walked the fourth floor to take in some of the more recent modern "art". Siesta back at the hotel and then headed out and grabbed some pretty nasty tapas. It´s truly amazing the number of people out on a Saturday night in Madrid. We hit up some bars down by Plaza de Santa Ana. Enjoyable Spanish pop to start the night, but most places seem to end the night with American pop-rock or Eurotrash pop.
