... time so the plan was just to sleep in the car park outside and check in first thing. The security guard did actually let us in just inside the site to another car park which was good if him as this meant we could sleep with the doors open without any worries which we have to do as it gets so hot in the van with them closed.. After a quick shower on the site, we hit the hay at around 3am!! It had been a long long day and we were definitely ready for bed!! Night night!! ...

Our flight was on a regional jet, flown by TAP's subsidiary Portugalia Airways. It was completely full, but we took off on time. It was a two-hour-plus flight, which coupled with the loss of an hour due to a new timezone, meant we didn't arrive until almost 5:00pm. ... got us back on the proprty search. In town we spotted two other properties so went off to find the local agent. He spoke no English so the next hour or so were interesting. I'd asked about one place but he got the keys for another on the same street. One was very old and a big project. The second was fully renovated and very nice but too expensive. Then he showed a third, a new build flat. The search will continue....
