Need a quick way to bring your spirits down?

A travel blog entry by cuartotres on Apr 09, 2015

I know quite a few ways to do that in a short period of time, from experience. There are days when you know things are going to be alright and moments when you feel on top of the world. Those are all good and well, until those moments when you feel like the world is crashing down around you and you forget all about those wonderful moments that rise you up so quickly.

A travel blog entry by cuartotres on Nov 30, 2014

... Sunday in November at church..

That aside, the music was lovely and somewhat familiar, minus the language of course. I even hummed along with some of the songs, given that there were no hymnals or bulletins. I felt a little out of place when communion happened, but was happy to see others that stayed in their seats as well. It was actually a very quick service. In and out within an hour! Quite a change from Park Street! I was happy and ...

... in Spanish and then smiled. I had no idea what she was talking about but then slowed down and tried to explain that she noticed that I am doing the steps correctly, but I just need to put more umph into the steps and make them Flamenco steps. Everyone in the class gave me a smile and extended pat on the back. I was on cloud 9. Now, if only I can keep the steps when the quick tempo comes.

This brings me back to that song. After days like yesterday, ...
