    ... After being sick for 3 weeks, diagnosed with not only Mononucleosis but also Hepatitis A, I am feeling a bit lost and alone. I have had a select few that have stuck it out with me and kept me company, despite my highly contagiousness, but at a time when decisions need to be made and I'm the only one to make them, I feel like the earth has opened up and swallowed me whole, forcing me to look life straight in the red glaring eyes and get right to it.

So when it came to my first promise i made to Julie whilst saying our tearful goodbyes, well, I didn't quite live up to my words...in fact I broke my word within 30 minutes of leaving Julie at her new flat.'I'll text you once I reach the airport and have dropped the car off safely ...     ... the apartment and already I feel revived and ready for the next 3 1/2 months. The actual neighborhood is quiet and calm, but a quick 5 minute walk down any of the staircases leading into ibiza and I have everything at my fingertips. Some might say this is possible in San An as well, but the buzz here is so much louder and vibrant. I found the paseo, beach, grocery stores, plenty of closed shops but enough open ones to make up for those that are closed. And the people. I sat ...

    ... myself for not only getting over there to be a part of the service, but also understanding a lot of the words spoken throughout. I couldn’t tell you what the message was, but I heard hermanos, esperanza, bon día, manos and many others. :D Perhaps next time I venture over, I will be able to piece together some of the words and make comprehendible sentences in my head to understand the meaning of the message. Poco a poco. For now, I am satisfied.

    ... the appreciation, the acceptance, the praise, I don’t ever want to leave or have to make the decision about if I find life elsewhere or come back and continue this life I am making. I want every day to be like yesterday and allow these people who have touched and filled my heart to continue to fill in all the crevices. I guess I need to amp up the Spanish studies and hope that the path is made visible as to where I am to continue this journey called life.
