... take a rest in a little plaza where I notice two Spanish boys, maybe 12 or 13 trying to pry open a pay phone to steal the money inside. I watch them as they struggle, very brazen about what they’re doing. With the help of the person going the pottery (Pablo), we were able to make something small, either a bowl, a vase,or a glass. It was really neat using the pottery wheel and making the clay come to life. It is really an art. If you force the clay it will wobble and not work as well. When ...

Well, it's winding down. I think I can finally start to get excited for the end. For mom and dad coming to travel around Spain with me, and for going back to the states. My last days of teaching is in 2 weeks, I have 8 days of work left, and mom and dad will be here in two weeks and a day. That leaves a grand total of 25 days left in Spain. Just about 8 months down....and 25 days to go.

Despite being really ...
