Living it up on the day of the dead
... me feel all warm inside simultaneously.
The pier was getting crowded with people getting ready to go out in a ceremony on the ocean consisting of several boats adorned with flowers, balloons, and candles or various lights, proceeding in line to honor the dead. I had been invited to go out with some friends to take part in this beautiful ceremony, and as darkness had fallen and the rain slowed down to a mere drizzle, we headed out onto the dark ocean.
