Following a wander round the city we eventually managed to find the yellow bus that would take us to a campsite by El Saler.

Absolutely sweltering hot we headed straight down to the beach after dumping our stuff under the pitched tent. Beautiful sandy beach and the sea is like bath water. Downside is there seem to be a lot of old ugly fat people about- apparently very nudisty.

... has some crazy sports fans, there is nothing that lives up to the same level. I attribute a lot of this to the fact that there is not much division among Americans. If you are from California you are just as American as someone from Florida, so rivalries are not as strong as in Europe. Most fans in America do not eat, live and drink like Spanish soccer fans do. After Spanish class I booked my first weekend trip with some girls on the program. In a few weeks the program is taking us to Barcelona for three nights and we are allowed to meet the group and leave the group there before and after the trip. Zum Glück liegt das Oceanografic inmitten des Komplexes der Gebäude von Calatrava - und so ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zu einigen der bekanntesten Gebäude dieses Architekten.

Wir machen noch einen kleinen Abstecher in ´s Zentrum von Valencia und schlendern bei 20 Grad ( PLUS !!! ) durch die Strassen.
