This morning, I joined Julia H and her two children, Diego and Lucia, for a trip to the zoo. It took me back to being a child, when Dad would take us to the zoo, while Mom was at work. Fun times! ... beef soup. The plan was to go to the beach after work but both Khadi and I decided against it. Shortly after I arrived home, it started raining. Good thing we didn't go to the beach. ... subsided and I weakly made my way down to breakfast for a little toast. I spent most the day recuperating in bed, searching the channels for spanish subtitled english films!
Then late afternoon went to soak in a little carnival atmosphere, fun as it was, it's a bit lonely on your own and I wasn't in the mood for chatting to random gringos in the crowd.
One more night of comfort then I bussed it back to Santa Marta, there's always next year for Carnival, ...
