As well as ribfest, there was a carribbean festival on, so we checked that out, skipped the food cos we were stuffed, but chilled out on the grass and listened to some of the live reggae music, before a long slow walk back to the hostel for an uneventful, early night.

Speaking of which I just saw my latest payslip, it seems the new award has gone through without me voting on it; I received a $1000 back-payment and paid $900 in tax, thanks IEU for the extra $100 and the uncertainty of what my performance will be measured upon!...or is that being too political whilst on leave?
