I'd be flying out at roughly midnight, which was 3AM by my body clock, and I still had to try to stay awake for another 4-6 hours so as to fall asleep at a reasonable bedtime for Sydney. Having never traveled so far, I was very concerned about jet lag (and to be truthful, at the time of this writing, I am still concerned although less so. I'll know more in a few hours.)
