... my skin and rubbing my eyes and eventually she figured it out. The I had to act out sleeping to ensure I was getting the non-drowsy ones. We both got a good laugh out of it. ... informative and we were glad that we had visited and learnt a lot more about what happened. It was nice to see the different memorials and the rose garden that has been planted there to take the place of the torture cells.

... views and an unbeatable lunch stop. For a panoramic view we headed up Cerro Campano on a cable car - stunning!

Bariloche was established by Swiss German settlers and as a result all the buildings are of the wooden log cabin style, giving the town an Alpine feel. While the streets heavily feature chocolate shops and restaurants serving fondu. We stopped in one and sampled the fondu, it was delicious! Even Swiss Tony agreed.
