... at the other side. We cycled straight into the centre of Emden to find gas. The first shop we stopped at had the wrong type of can and no stoves. The man then directed us to a shop that didn't exist. Next we stopped at the tourist office where the women tried as hard as she could to help but there seem to be no shops anywhere.

We lunched in the centre and thought about our predicament. I thought we may be able to ...

Arrived on time and bought a Dutch sim card for my phone. I'll be here for a while and lots of people to contact and it will be handy for transport apps to have a bit of data too. Then off to get a transport card for travelling on the trains and maybe buses too.

I found the right train with one change at Zwolle and then Rosa met me at Groningen train station.

It is great to be here and it is sunny and warm!

Me, Tamara, Carmen, and their grandma spent the past week in Langeoog. It is pretty small island, but it has been so much fun. The island doesn't allow cars so we have to bike everywhere, and it is honestly a nice change. It's very peaceful here and the beach is so beautiful. Yes, it is in the North Sea, so the water was freezing but we still went swimming and had such a great time. I definitely hope to come back and vacation ...
