Arrived on time and bought a Dutch sim card for my phone. I'll be here for a while and lots of people to contact and it will be handy for transport apps to have a bit of data too. Then off to get a transport card for travelling on the trains and maybe buses too.

I found the right train with one change at Zwolle and then Rosa met me at Groningen train station.

It is great to be here and it is sunny and warm!

We enjoyed riding bikes along the canals in this interesting small town but are starting to yearn for Phillip Island again and looking forward to moving on to ...

... area also had some connection with the military-perhaps for all terrain training exercises. The fact that the cycle path ran right through the area, we figured that we could get away with finding a little posi for our tent overnight. We found a discreet spot and set up for the night then set off as early as we could in the morning!

The next day we had the wind behind us which was glorious & we sailed along through many small villages & lots ...

Our next Christmas Market was the grand-daddy of all Christmas Markets – Nürnberg! Our hostess took us to Nürnberg and we spent the afternoon walking around the biggest Market of them all. There are three sections to this market – the Children’s Market, the normal market and the International market. And, in case you didn’t know, Nürnberg is the originator of Nürnberger Lebkuchen. You have been able to ...
