Off the back packer trail - the Pampas: We decided to see the Atlantic coast and the pampas south of BA - grass, cows, fences, a few trees, and lagoons. The pampas are the vast areas of flat grass lands that make up the majority of the Argentine countryside. In the morning we went to Villa Gesell's local radio station. Jose Luis has a weekly radio show where he speaks about the political issues of the town. Some people think he should run for major of the town but he doesn’t want to.

On the way home we saw someone in their car at the traffic lights, drinking mate. Graciela told us it’s illegal to drink mate when driving, this is because it’s distracting.
