So I know I haven't gotten on here and written anything yet especially since I made such a big deal about how I was going to write everyday but with no laptop charger (I left it in atlanta). Computer use has been scarce. I can only write a little today because I need to get ready for class but I will try to outline as much as possible.
arrived last night, safe and sound. Found our transport... nice gentleman with our name on a stick, needed to wait for5 or 6 other people.... got to hotel safe and sound... beautiful hotel and room, great breakfast with pineapple, mango papaya, guaba... NOT guava.... interesting fruit, kinda tart, and pretty hard with rock hard seeds, not bad but not great. The hotel room as the funniest drinking fountain right next to toilet... can't figure ...
... was lovely with a private showroom. It was very basic, however I donīt believe you head all the way into deep jungle to sit in a 5* resort!

We then had a trip on a dugout canoe with one of the local guides. It was a peaceful hour where we saw lots of birds, some fruit bats, and also howler monkeys.
