This morning was an early start (6 AM) to catch the TGV train to Geneva. We had to take the metro to Paris Lyon, where we bought lunch for on the train, and then caught it to Switzerland. It was a bit slower than the Eurostar and took around 4:30. Otherwise it all went smoothly though. Once in Geneva, we caught the tram to CERN, the end of the line, and were slowly transferred ...

... later, we'd explored every park, sit-upon ride thingy, and smelled every flower (they were gorgeous) to finally arrive at the museum. Each ticket was printed with a particular sport and funnily enough they were so highly appropriate!

Tony got the C-1 paddler, Talia the gymnast, I got the figure skater (perhaps a nod to my dance background..waaaaay back) and Avaia - got the high jumper, BUT if you turned it upside down, it looked like the monkey climbing ...

... It was put into perspective, somewhat, when we read that a basic meal at McDonald's would cost $14. (Switzerland uses Swiss Francs, fairly close to the U.S. dollar in value. Less than a Euro.)
