Only 5 rooms in the B & B and not quite as billed on booking.com but very pleasant and with a lovely terrace overlooking the windmills and sea just across from our room. Beautiful sunset and a great meal at a fish taverna to start the holiday. Weather is hot and sunny for ...

His eye was still messed up and he had to go to the hospital ...

... day, it was a thriving middle-class town with impressive temples. Delos was a free port, so commercial activity congregated here. Rich merchants, bankers and ship-owners from all over the world settled here, attracting many builders, artists and craftsmen who built for them luxurious houses, richly decorated with statues, frescoes and mosaic floors. The small island soon became the greatest commercial centre of the world.

... a swim. We wandered back into town to find lunch. We sat down at one cafe, only to notice that all the seafood on the menu was noted as frozen. We got up and continued on our hunt for something a little fresher. We wound our way through the streets and found a fast food gyro place serving gyro wraps and Greek salads. We decided it looked yummy, so in we went and it was good. They put french fries in the wraps which was a little odd but otherwise it was tasty and ...
