Today I spent the day in Frankfurt. It was Carnival so there was lots going on downtown and there was a parade. I walked around, watched the parade and had a nice German lunch. I spoke to early, we have just pulled into Fulda and it has started to rain. Fulda is a major town/city and extends for a long way each side of the train station. I notice a lot of industry and a very large paper recycling plant just on the outskirt of town. The train station has the longest platform I have seen on this trip and going by the large volume of commuters on the platforms I expect Fulda would have a reasonable population. ...
