... way past where we were supposed to be and got to see the beautiful Christmas markets and decorations in the main square! Lunch was delicious- real German schnitzel with mushrooms and potatoes!!! Yum! Afterwards Beate took us back to the markets where we tried sugar-coated almonds and walked all the way down to the river :) We visited the Frankfurt Cathedral and walked the 328 steps up the Cathedral tower- haha a decent hike! It was a spiral concrete ...

We ended up getting to sleep at 19.30 (Germany works in 24 hour time haha) we woke up at 8.30 ready for our breakfast which was complete with different types of sausage, cheesecake, brownie and donuts. Perhaps also because it has a Börse (Stock Exchange) and is a finance centre. It is home to many different corporations including the European Central Bank and the Detusche Bundesbank. The city has more banks than the Nile River!

... gymnasium atrium complex. Very much a business hotel of functional chic, but once again I got it at a great rate so can’t complain.

After unpacking and settling in, I proceed to look for a bar showing the Spurs against Liverpool match. All the German bars would be having Bayer Leverkusen vs. Eintracht Frankfurt on. Therefore I need to find an Irish bar out of necessity (a sentence I don’t say very often, despite ...
