... House"....Wow...what a concert and the man is 66 years old.
Oh, one major complication that managed to turn to a minor one was that all the casinos were "smoking"...the first night I got a migraine headache that kept me up all night and then in bed until 1:00 pm the next day. Thankfully I had the mind to bring these nose filters I'd purchased after seeing on Shark Tank...put them on the next day and proceeded to live in them the rest of the time ...
... I popped my gambling cherry on the strip and lost horribly so I don't plan on doing that again while I am here. We went to a spot to jump off cliffs into a lake yesterday and that was a blast. Then we played beach volleyball, 15 games worth, and my body hurts so bad today. I need to wrap this up because we are going to head out to Red Rock for a run in a minute. I have no idea where I am going from here but I'll figure that out in the next couple days here.
... this giant chandelier! On our way out of planet Hollywood we ran into a promoter with tickets for the Koi bar - $20 entry & all you can drink, sounded like a plan stan! Only thing was we had to be there early so at 10.30 we were the only ones in the club haha! Later on though it picked up a lot & we had a great night, meeting some fun new people :) Up the next morning & I'd booked the CSI experience for Alex's birthday, it's in the MGM which was ...
... day we were able to check into the Flamingo. The lobby reminded us of a very, very busy airport. We spent some time exploring the 40 acres of pools and shops and courtyards before heading out on the strip. Our mission was to find all the big casinos and buy some tickets for a show and a buffet. It was very hot on the street, but the walks between casinos were so short that the heat wasn't too big a factor. A big part of the fun ...
... while before heading back out. Tonight we went to see the Fremont Experience in Downtown Vegas. Very cool idea....several city blocks are connected by overhead half moon shaped tv screens which cover the length of the block. They play music and light shows on them.
