... me, so we occupied ourselves with various diversions - reading, writing, blogging, watching a movie, etc. The flight was smooth and without incident. Once again we deplaned in Japan while the efficient Japanese cleaning crew redid the plane. The Nagoya airport is modern, clean and efficient - and they have restrooms and snacks in the gate area!

Today we went off to Nagoya Castle. So far it has been my favorite and not just because the SAKURA ARE RUFFIANLY IN FULL BLOOM but it had a awesome layout and design. We also went to the palace but it had been rebuilt and was all new so it wasn't as good. The we went to a shrine that was deep in a park that was more like a forest. There I saw Miko-sans! Later we found another discount figure store where I went a bit nuts =P

... yukata and we ate ramen for lunch. We went back to the house, packed up our sentakumono and came back to our hotel. It was an awkward good-bye as Papa didn't get into the car with us to go back to the hotel. Later, we found out that he thought we were leaving for Tokyo the next day and not spending another night there.
