    We were very happy to see the sun this morning! An absolutely beautiful day! After breakfast, we boarded a motor coach and traveled for an hour and 20 minutes through the countryside and up into the mountains. We passed through many tunnels built through mountains, some tunnels were more than 6 miles long! The highways were great and we passed many communities and farms. The scenery was beautiful.

    Our last stop was Kenrokuen Garden, one of the most beautiful in Japan. It was opened to the public in 1875 and is one of the most visited garden spots in all of Japan.
