... Christmas gifts to store on the train and there was very little space. It became a bit of an issue but as we couldn't understand any of the language we just kind of sat and waited for it to blow over, whilst Linda helped diffuse the situation! The train was better than we all expected, we shared a compartment with 3 Chinese and Lena, the Norwegian girl in our group and surprisingly we all managed to get some well earned sleep. One thing you can never get used to here is the ...

Then it was back to work after CNY break. But the fun did not stop and more faces from home popped up in Beijing. The Lumineers were playing!!! Many people from ISB went to the concert and it felt so good to see and hear these guys who remind me so much of home. Another highlight for sure!

... br> From there we went into the Forbidden City, which was a palace and a workplace for the emperors. Normal folk would not be allowed in there. Good thing my group had celebrity friends like Connor and me to get us backstage passes into the city. We walked in and saw the throne of the emperor and ...

    First Massage Memory

... and I was ready to walk home. As I walked home a little boy—maybe 3 or 4—ran to catch up with me and kept pace with my step. His grandfather thought it was quite funny. About
