    ... small practically deserted island near Koh Chang. The speedboat journey over was crazy but fun. When we arrived it was even more deserted than I’d imagined. We were staying in a lovely resort but the weather was playing up – it is monsoon season unfortunately!     ... all catch up on some sleep. The hotel is gorgeous, very clean and modern with all the facilities you could need, comfy beds, free cold water, free bicycle rental and lovely staff.     ... at Kai Bae behind and part of Siam Cottage resort where the banana shake is great and the food good and cheap. I'm not sure of course but I fear that they will sell this place as the ground must be worth a lot. The small bungalows/huts are starting to be in a real bad state and it doesn't seem that they care so that could well be the last season for them.
