    ... not an easy task but we are getting pretty savvy and parking a bit like italians,in the minute-est of spaces ) ...... We discover that Nonna had decided to take the day off and had taped a little notice on the door !!!!!!! Damn you Nonna .....
    So, we end up with a panini and espresso, disappointed , but there was an interesting Lavazzo coffee poster in the cafe ..... And VERY good coffee.

    Italy Jess, Ben and I decided to go to Italy! Jess had never been. I have an open travel plan so our next stop was Italy! We book, what we thought would be a cheap Ryanair flight to Venice. Ryanair pretty much charges you for everything. They even charge you 50 pounds if you check in at the airport. Lucky, we didn't have to pay that but it got close.     ... trip. We did enjoy Croatia and their beaches and beautifully blue and refreshing water. Tis good stuff.

    We called in to see my mate, the oldest checkout chick in the world. Yep, she was there in her white lab-coat and her white cap. I was in the slow lane, her lane u til a speedy man arrived so jumped over to him with my single purchase of a large bottle of water - €0.60, cheap as!

    ... So we called in there on our way back and indulged. I scored three scoops and Annette two. I probably have two scoops too many! One more story. DT's or speedos for you oldies, is why all males of my vintage wear. Board shorts are not the worn thing. There I go, not in fashion yet again!

    We are now back at the hotel, sitting out the front under the awning using the WiFi. Will post this entry and off to bed. Another big and hot day tomorrow.

    ... where we indulged in cold sparkling water. We continued along the coast to another village, Marollo. It was hot and we had both run out of water on the bikes - 1.5l for me and 0.75 Annette. We polished off another 1.5l of water with gas and topped up the bike water bottles.
