On a lighter note, to receive a teaching (and an initiation woohoo horay! hahah) from the Dalai Lama was an incredible experience. It might have indirectly led me to attend the 10 day silent meditation and Buddhist philosophy course I just got out of as well, but again, more on that later ;)

A funeral procession was outside the daycare a few days ago. Indira, the teacher, was telling the children to stay inside and all of the women from the village came out to watch.
