        ... One old guy even said he loved me and then apologised to Martijn. We went into the Starbucks shamelessly and ordered the most awesome frappuccino - chocolate mocha jelly.         We took a boat from our hotel on Gili T to Lombok. The concierge had everything set up for us once we got there including a private guide a driver, hotel, boat ride, and entrance to the places we wanted to see. Our guide taufik was awesome.         ... off a nearby island (part of the itinerary) due to the lost time and concerns about the engines. But when we left Anak Krakatau, we circled the island for a good look at it, and the cloud cover lifted just enough to offer up the wanted views.

        Given the level of volcanic activity, one wonders what the future has in store for Krakatoa's child, or vice versa.
