Today was mum's birthday so she decided to go to the beach. We drove to a place called Duga Uvala, a little bay on the east coast of Istria. The beach was rocky and there were lots of sea urchins in the water, but we had our water shoes so were ok. The water was still cold but today was the warmest day so far so we were able to stay in quite a long time. Mum and I went snorkelling right across the bay. ... to the mainland. There’s a relatively new road along the spine of the island so we headed to the far end intending to make our way back along the coast. Well, Baśka was the first village we stopped at and we lingered there basking in the sun, Dave having a swim (off a pebble beach but it has a sandy sea floor). It was super good pizza. After lunch we returned to the courses and did my favourite ...

I don't think dad could do it! The owner of the park then offered to order pizza for our lunch. While we were waiting for it to be delivered, Jacob and I went on the 3G swing. We were strapped onto a log which ...

... 6 metres off the ground. To get up there I had to climb a big leaning log with foot holds cut into the side. To was quite tricky to keep moving the carabiners onto the next safety wire. This course had more difficult obstacles like really wobbly bridges and a bigger zip line. The highest course was 10 metres off the ground and was really difficult. Thee were cargo nets up in the air that we had ...
