This Is Very Good Hotel With Nice People And Excellent Food. The Rooms Are Nice And The Halls Are Clean. The Only Problem Was The Pools Were For KIDS ONLY and The Lifeguards Are Mean.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel, we thought it was great but the water park wasn't really for us, more little children. we were given a two night stay for 109$ because of a time share promo. will never do that again! but the hotel was great and the resterant was awesome!

Stayed her Feb 19 and 20th. Where should I start? First we were told where the elevator was by the front desk staff and after walking the halls with all our luggage we found out they lied and there is no elevator in the west building. We requested a first floor room and got stuck on the second floor We found this out after listening to a lady complain that she wanted to be on the second floor of our section of the building and was disapointed that she was on the first floor in another section. DUH!! satisfy your guests and at least try to give them their request. Our bathroom light did not work so we had to use the heating light that would only go on for 10 minutes at a time. The frigerator sounded like it was going to take flight it was so loud it woke us up all night long every time it went on. The first night we were there we finally got the kids settled down and asleep when the alarm went off at midnight. We had to steel a vacumn from the hallway to vacumn the room after the cleaning staff came in because they failed to vacumn. The water park was small, overcrowded and the water was freezing. We then went to the regular pool and within 15 minutes we were invaded by a group of 50 people and the pool is not really even big enough for that many people. I would never stay at this hotel again but to be honest it is better than the carousel inn and suites.

Our stay at Antiqua Bay was enjoyabe! Our children had a great time in the waterpark however i wouldnt recomend it for children over the age of 8. The only complaint we had was that they use to much chlorine in the pools.

We stayed at Antiqua Bay for 2 nights this past weekend and the kids (ages 5 & 11) loved it. The water park is strictly for little ones which was fine since this trip was geared toward them anyway. I recommend you have other plans like Noah's Ark (excellent, even for little ones) as the water slides at the hotel will get boring even for pre-teens. They offer free breakfast for the children wich was nice and the hotel was clean and quiet (I would not get a room by any of the 3 pools though!). I would stay here again.

This hotel is the worst ever! The hallways are very dingy and dark. Some rooms face a room with some tables and video games. The wallpaper is falling off, the carpet is stainded very badly, and the furniture is chipped. This hotel is a 50$ hotel not a 180$ hotel. It is not worth it. DONT STAY HERE!

We stayed at Antigua Bay last fall because we had a free room if we would go through a time share showing. We paid like $45. more to stay an extra night. The bay entertained my three kids ages 8,11,and 4. The town was torn up for construction but we still liked visiting the candy shop, seeing the water and little shops. Best of all you HAVE to see The House on a Rock nearby. That alone we will never forget.

Skip the time share push!

We stayed at the Howard Johnson Antiqua Bay July 25 thru 28, 2003. This hotel was O.K. I felt it was a little over priced ($424.00 for three nights). I agree, the pools are for younger children and they did enjoy the game room. The only negative thing is the carpets were very stained in the rooms and hallways. And also, the deep dish pizza at the on-site restaurant is not as good as Chicago's.

Good value. Waterpark is small but perfect for kids 6 and under. Nice a shallow area for real young ones. Hot tub placement allows adults to watch kids in pool.

Avoid the restaurant, at least for breakfast. Poorly prepared and expensive. Walk across the parking lot to Perkins for Breakfast or at least bring back their muffins.

Plan on freezing in the 1st floor hallways if it is somewhat cold outside.

This a a very reasonably priced hotel with a great water park for those kids 6 and under. The zero entry pool and water spouts are a hit with this age group. Older kids will be bored with the water slide and other gadgets, but it is a pool and they will get wet!
