As I write this, we've been home for several weeks now. It's been hard to sit down and finish this blog once we got back home - and then had to prepare for going back to Austin again for our youngest daughter's 21 Sep wedding.
By this point in our trip, we were ready to get back to Austin to see the kids and grandkids. Abilene was just a quick overnight stop, and we were on the road again.
Spent the last couple of days in Abilene, TX. Mostly uneventful drive, but we did have to stop a couple of times and fix a piece of weather stripping that was flapping around on the camper.
We arrived in town hungry with no food in the camper (yet again), so we thought we'd go out for dinner. We have a gift card for Olive Garden, and Dean loves ...
