“You want to go to beach?” he asks. I say “yes, that’s where I’m going right now” I reply as I step off of the boat. “I drive, no problem.” Okay so now I’m thinking, he’s going to drive me off into the middle of no where and kill me, typical. On Tuesday we flew to Heraklion - the main city in Crete. We then got a bus to our hotel in Sisi. The Hotel was called Sentido Vasi Hotel. I had great fun in the ...

On our last day in Crete we felt very sad to leave, Tom and I played soccer in the yard and then we went and built sandcastles for the last time. We then went into Chania and sat and watched the soccer while Mum did some shopping. That night we caught a ferry back to Athens. We had a cabin with a TV, and the trip back to Athens took 9 hours.

On our ferry trip from Rhodes to Crete a man fell from another boat, into the sea. It was 10.30 at night and our ferry was the closest, so we had to turn our Ferry around and help him. We got a phonecall in our cabin asking Dad to move his car which was parked downstairs because it was blocking the emergency door. The boat guys had to throw ropes to the man, and then a helicopter came and picked him up. Mum and I were a little bit scared, and glad when it was all ...
