    ... showing Arthur and Charlegmane, panels illustrating the love story of Tristan and Iseult, as well as the story of Garel of the Blooming Valley. I think the original goals of the frescos was to help the rather lowly Vintler brothers gain status in the Tyrolean aristocracy, but if you look closely you can learn a lot about about the culture and styles of the day. I snapped a few photos of the frescos.

    ... a couple light pasta entrees and we did not disagree. Chris had a ricotta and spinach tortellati ragout and mine was tagliatelle fatte (kind of a wide, flat noodle) with radicchio and bresaola. They were quickly prepared by a jovial Italian cook, who, when he poked his head out, seemed relieved we ordered something requiring cooking. Such a lucky accident we wondered in there.

    ... a palace and an arched exit that led to yet another piazza - Piazza Mercato - where Karen happily bought apricots and a donut peach.
