Trento is a surprise package. A city of approx 120 000 based on education and finance this city is located on the river Adige, a major trading route with Europe in earlier time, and completely surrounded by snow covered mountains. Spectacular.
We left Colfosco on a near perfect day and as I think I mentioned we travelled north to almost the Austrian border and then south to Trento. ...

The house was only 200m from the beginning of all the walking trails that extend up to Monte Grappa. I had a ball walking and enjoying the countryside. It was sooooo steep but views amazing. ... with us for a fantastic pizza dinner in San Zenone, cousins: Ornella, Paolo, Loriz, Simone, Lerna, Maurizio and Ivano. This was the first time that I have met my cousins Loriz and Simone. After dinner, we went to a TexMex bar for more grappa before calling it a day. This was when Helen acquired the taste for grappa and enjoyed every drop of drinking grappa during the course of the day. A full day of grappa enjoyment indeed!

... and a mack jacket dancing with all the women that would happen to be near him. Paolo called him 'lumberjack man', he was quite entertaining to watch. As the night progressed the music steadily increased in volume and we decided we could not wait any longer for the bikini contest to begin, we left at 11pm. We were satisfied enough to have witnessed lumberjack man with his Jamaican dance moves on the dance floor.
