Enough geography and history for now! We got off the bus and bought a map, because, sure as hell, there are so many canals and bridges that getting lost is virtually guaranteed, which is not a problem unless you forget where to catch the bus back out again! Ok we made it to Venice. Its raining , cold and nobody cares that we cant understand them. We got our water taxi tickets and had to walk a mike to get on the boat. We both had to pull our rain jackets out. I finally was able to get the global phone to work notified the parents and called the owner of the apartment we are renting.
