      Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

      ... Milan we decided to see the mighty Duomo under daylight so we headed off there again. Despite the guys trying to sell you stuff it was great strolling around the piazza once again and we pretty much spent the whole day around. We also went to the Castello Sforzesco wich reminded me a lot of Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome.       ... lots of top end shops. The Duomo cathedral is gothic at it's most ornate, 135 spires, golden Madelina on the highest as the symbol of Milan. Needs continuous maintenance with pure distilled water. They built a canal to bring the marble for the Duomo and it took 6 centuries. Visited the castle.
