... a tourist destination and the town is
filled with tourists ooooing and aaaaahing and taking pictures of absolutely
everything. Watching tourists from all over the world is an experience all on
its own. Of course the town is dominated by the Matterhorn which towers over a
town filled with chalets, hotels, tourist shops and flowers. The Flowers are
    absolutely everywhere and makes ...

... being extremely damp is home to many different
varieties of mushrooms, ferns and moss. On the way down we met up with an Adder
Snake which had just shed its skin.

The interesting part of the descent is that although it is
extremely steep and rocky, there are tracks that indicate that some maniacs
actually ride mountain bikes down these paths.

Eventually we arrived at a small group of chalets called
Gueuroz. These were probably holiday homes but a few ...

    Joe:
Today was a rainy day in Zinal, a tiny ski town here in the Alps and almost to the Matterhorn. We hiked to the top of the Col de Sorbois and were able to intermittently see the glacier blue Lac de Moiry but we never got to see the grand ...
