It turned into a horrible multitude of blisters, and it took me so long to recover, but luckily leaving no scars.

On this island we are 240 miles east of Athens, 400 miles (or so) west of war-torn Syria, and about 500 miles northwest of Israel. My guess is that the people here feel unthreatened, except perhaps by downpours of rain.
